Lars Eckmann (Lars) offers yoga classes (public as well as private), workshops and retreats, as well as Thai Yoga massages. The GTC apply to all services provided by Lars. Should individual provisions be or become invalid, the remaining provisions shall remain valid. With the use of one or more offers or the orders, the participant agrees to the application of these GTC.
Prior to the first participation in an event organized by Lars, a registration form has to be filled out, in which the participant/inside declares that there are no health concerns opposing a participation. For all yoga classes, retreats and workshops taught and organized by Lars, self-responsibility and a normal mental and physical resilience and condition are assumed. However, they do not represent medical or psychotherapeutic treatments.
All participants take part in these courses on their own responsibility. It is the responsibility of the participants to consult their physician before beginning the first yoga lesson to determine whether yoga may be practiced. Existing mental or physical health restrictions as well as an existing pregnancy are to be reported to Lars Eckmann at the latest at the beginning of the course. Insurance is the sole responsibility of the participant, any liability is declined. No liability is assumed for valuables brought by participants.

Private lessons and yoga lessons that are cancelled in time will not be charged. If an appointment is cancelled less than 24h in advance, the full amount will be owed.
Lars Eckmann reserves the right to cancel lessons – even at short notice – in case of illness or unplannable events, or to have an appropriately qualified person substitute. The participant will be informed as soon as possible by e-mail, SMS or phone about a cancellation (except for unforeseeable cancellations).
Yoga classes expire after their expiration date (typically 3 months), are personal and non-transferable. Yoga subscriptions are valid from the date of purchase.
Paid class fees for subscriptions are non-refundable. Monthly subscriptions may be paused for the advertised length of time due to vacations or absences for work-related reasons that last longer than two (2) weeks consecutively, if such absences are communicated in advance in writing. Subsequent breaks are not possible. In the event of illness, accident or pregnancy, the duration of all subscriptions can be paused accordingly upon presentation of a doctor’s certificate, provided that no services were received during the certified period.
If a participant is unable to attend a workshop or training, he/she always has the option of finding a substitute. This must be done in writing by e-mail, stating the name/first name and e-mail address of the substitute.
Cancellations are associated with administrative costs. Alternatively, the course fee can be partially waived depending on the time of cancellation. Cancellations must be communicated in writing.
The refund of the course fee is regulated as follows:
Lessons not attended cannot be made up and will not be refunded. In case of absence (illness, work load, other reasons) or if the workshop or training is cancelled, there is no right to any reduction or refund.
Upon receipt of the registration, the participant will receive a confirmation of registration together with the bank details for the payment of the retreat. The place at the retreat is definitely reserved only with a deposit. This amount will not be refunded in case of cancellation of participation. The balance must be paid at least 60 days before the start of the retreat unless otherwise agreed. With the deposit the registration is binding and obligates to pay the full amount. Non-payment is not considered a cancellation. If the payment is not made in time, the travel services can be refused and the cancellation costs can be claimed. If the number of participants is limited, registrations will be considered in the order in which they are received. The date of receipt of the bank transfer is valid.
A cancelled place can be transferred to another person. In this case, a handling fee and any rebooking costs can be claimed.
We expressly reserve the right to make changes to the program and specific services (program, accommodation, supervision, yoga instructors, transportation) due to unforeseen circumstances or safety reasons. In this case, any additional costs will be borne by the participants.
If for any reason the participant cancels the trip prematurely, the price will not be refunded. Any additional costs will be borne by the participant.
We reserve the right to cancel a trip at short notice due to force majeure, official measures, strikes or illness of the yoga instructor. Likewise, a trip can be cancelled up to 30 days prior to departure if the minimum number of participants is not reached. In this case the paid amount will be refunded in full. No further claims can be made.
Travel to and from the destination is the responsibility of the participant and the resulting costs are not included in the offer. It is the participant’s responsibility to comply with the entry regulations abroad. Passport or identity card, must be valid at least until the return date, in some countries at least 6 months beyond the return date. The provider assumes no liability for non-compliance with regulations and associated expenses, e.g. in the event of denied entry.
Insurance is the responsibility of the participant in all respects. The organizer cannot be held liable for theft or loss of items. Participants are advised to take out the following insurances: Travel cancellation insurance, health and accident insurance.
For yoga retreats, good health and a stable mental condition are required. The participant participates on his/her own responsibility and is obliged to inform the provider about any physical and/or mental impairments. If necessary, the advice of a physician is to be obtained before participation. If a participant does not meet the physical or mental requirements, the provider can exclude the participant from the (further) trip. Return travel costs etc. are the responsibility of the participant and the amount paid cannot be refunded.
The liability of the provider is in any case limited to the amount and scope of the agreed offer and covers only the direct damage. The provider will compensate you for the loss of agreed services, if it was not possible to provide an equivalent substitute service on the spot. The provider is not liable if the non-fulfillment or improper fulfillment of the contract is due to one or more of the following causes:
The provider undertakes to treat personal data and information confidentially and not to pass them on to third parties. Excluded from this is the disclosure of data to employees and business partners for organizational reasons. Likewise, the participant agrees to treat information about other course participants confidentially.
The provider uses photos of events on its own website or Facebook, Instagram on which possibly participants can be recognized. If this should have happened against the will of a person, he/she can request Lars Eckmann to remove his/her person on the picture. Further and own claims can not be asserted.
